The McGinnis Project

2017 – 2019

It’s taken 14 years for songwriter Ryan McGinnis to journey from the underground punk clubs of Charlotte, NC to the plains of Wichita, Kansas. During that time, Ryan traded in loud distortion for acoustics and reverbed out riffs. He also met fiery fiddle player Houston Bales and together they formed the McGinnis Project. Together they blend a multitude of influences into their Celtic leaning sound. High energy guitar riffs and intense fiddle work drive songs of life and relationships both found and lost.

Ultimately the group disbanded and played their last show in February of 2019.
