Ryan McGinnis

2020 – 

I kept playing solo shows after the McGinnis Project broke up, eventually selling out of “Big Night Sky”. After the CD sold out, I took a several month break before coming back to play a show in August of 2019, and what would end up being my last live show to date in November of 2019 at the Artichoke Bar in Wichita, KS. Since then I’ve occasionally played songs online before releasing “Rusty Blue Van” in the fall of 2020. I followed that up with “Aurora” in January 2021 and plan on releasing more new music sometime in 2021. With the new music, I’m wanting to take another turn and explore some genres that I rarely play, while still occasionally giving a nod to the more acoustic side that people had come to know over the past 7 years.
