New Covers!
“Everything is a work in progress…”
It’s a philosophy that I live by not only at my day job, where a website can undergo an infinite amount of edits, even after it’s launched but also in my art.
Whenever someone notices a typo in my book, I correct it. If you read my book “Tears of the Dragon” two years ago, the version that is out these days is superior. Don’t get me wrong, I never edit for content or change the story, but I will work to improve the grammar.
In that vein, I also tend to play with the covers. As my cover-making skill continues to grow, I tend to want to go back and improve the previous entries. When I finished the cover for “The Osiris Initiative,” I went back and redid the cover for “Tears of the Dragon” to try to make them look more like a series. Similarly, when I finished the cover for “The Delicate Art of Death,” I reconsidered whether I could improve on the previous covers, especially “Tears of the Dragon,” which I’ve never been completely happy about.
Now I’m proud to present what I feel is the ultimate version of “Tears of the Dragon.” I now feel like this version accurately represents my original vision for the cover. I’ve also slightly tweaked “The Osiris Initiative,” although I didn’t feel like it needed as much tweaking. I just added a stormy sky and darkened the alleyway slightly. I’m happy to release these both in time for the one-year anniversary of “The Osiris Initiative,” which will be Tuesday, March 21.
The paperback version of both of these books are absolutely gorgeous and are available on my Shop page. I’ve also added a three-pack where you can order autographed versions of all three books in the series at a discount. Hope you guys enjoy these beautiful covers as much as I do.
