Brand New Review of Terrestrial

by Featured, Fiction

Terrestrial is live on all major retailers, and it’s receiving quite a bit of praise. Cody over at the Boron Heist was good enough to write a review and give his thoughts on it. I probably blushed when I first read it. He caught on to a good bit of the subtext, but I’m not going to point out anything he may have missed. That’s up to you guys. In any case, I’m eternally grateful for reviews like this. Social proof, as they call it, is very important to independent authors like myself. Reviews go a long way toward convincing others that I know what I’m doing and that they should buy my book.

So, if you want to do that indie author in your life a big favor, give them a review, or even just a rating if you’re shy. They will appreciate it more than you know. Now, on to The Boron Heist’s review of “Terrestrial.”

(Caution: The review does contain some light spoilers, so if you want to go into it fresh, you may want to read the review after you read the book.)

– Ryan

” Terrestrial employs McGinnis’s usual parallel narrative structure to tell what feels like both John Wyndham’s classic sci-fi novel The Day of the Triffids (1951) and Daniel Espinosa’s film Life (2017) at one time. Meteors containing extraterrestrial life have fallen to Earth’s surface, or have they been called there? “
